Fall Back

I like clocks a lot. Especially mechanical ones. Now I'm having to turn back every clock I have running. Oh well. Other than that -- it's looking like a really good Sunday. Fortunately we have been able to teach our computers and operating systems when to change time by themselves.

Last night we watched Kingdom of Heaven. Kind of a long movie. Lots of Battle sequences. No wonder the Muslims are pissed off at the Europeans. I like Ridley Scott films, in general.

Friday !

I was scheduled for Joory Dudy during this past week. In Ventura County, we have the "one day or one trial" system. So, starting on the Monday of the week assigned, you either call in and listen to a recorded message or check on their website.
My Group number is 087, but they only required up to Group 048 for Friday morning. Next Monday, they start over at Group 001. So, I'm off the hook for another year.

Tonight we watched The Interpreter. Sean Penn and Nicole "Golden Globes" Kidman. It was OK, I like most of what Sydney Pollack does. I thought that it wasn't really well established that the male character at the beginning of the movie was the brother of Silvia Broome (Kidman's character). I was really impressed that it was filmed inside the actual UN facility. The wierd part was that while watching the "Making Of" stuff on the DVD, I noticed that the paintings or murals on the walls of the UN meeting rooms were intentionally blurred out. However - while watching the movie, the paintings and murals are very visible...
